# Conservative fixes

Preview a supported rewrite before changing an instruction. Most findings require a human to supply the missing intent, scope, or constraint.

The released fixer accepts one explicit `.md`, `.txt`, or `.prompt` file and terminal output only. It supports only a direct standalone `Don't be verbose` (including a curly apostrophe) as the first body line after a file-leading top-level `# Instructions` heading and blanks. Other headings, preambles, and malformed scope fail closed. H1/H2 inference, security negatives, priority rules, and cross-file conflicts remain manual.

After reviewing the exact diff, opt into writing and an original-byte backup:

```

The backup is `FILE.lintlang.bak`; existing backups are never overwritten. Keep the diff in version control and rerun a normal scan. This narrow rewrite does not establish semantic equivalence for arbitrary instructions.
