# Updates and community

Follow releases, report a reproducible problem, or help improve LintLang.

## Get release notifications

1. Sign in to GitHub and open the [LintLang repository](https://github.com/hermes-labs-ai/lintlang).
2. Select **Watch → Custom → Releases**, then apply your selection.
3. Choose email or GitHub delivery in your [GitHub notification settings](https://github.com/settings/notifications).

GitHub manages your subscription and delivery preferences. You can change or stop notifications in the same settings. See [GitHub's notification guide](https://docs.github.com/en/subscriptions-and-notifications/get-started/configuring-notifications) for details.

Prefer a feed reader? Subscribe to the [release Atom feed](https://github.com/hermes-labs-ai/lintlang/releases.atom). You can also read the [release history](/releases) here.

## Report a bug or request a feature

Search [existing issues](https://github.com/hermes-labs-ai/lintlang/issues) first. For a scanner problem, include the LintLang version, command, expected behavior, actual output, and a small example with secrets removed.

GitHub issues are public. For a security vulnerability, follow the [security reporting instructions](/docs/security) instead of posting an issue.

## Contribute

Read the [contribution guide](/docs/contributing) for development setup and checks. Improvements to rules, test cases, documentation, and integration examples are welcome.
